The overarching theme of my vacation style is comfortably fabulous. To achieve this look I follow these three guidelines:
- pack outfits that are easy to walk around in – especially as that is about 60% of the activity that I’m doing while on vacation.
- pack very breathable fabrics. Knowing that Spain was going to be in the very beginning of summer and already hot, I packed outfits that were light and breezy. My wrap dress was one such outfit.
- pack accessories that complement more than one outfit
- 80% of the shoes that I pack I can walk in for more than half a mile.
These guidelines inform how I pack for any summer vacation. So when packing for Spain I knew that I had to bring my tropical culotte pant set from Shein. This versatile outfit was perfect for our visit to Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya. This historical landmark had lots of steps and was pretty hilly but the views … nothing could beat the views. It’s a must visit location if you find yourself in Barcelona. At night in the summertime they have the Montjuïc magic fountain or – think Bellagio fountain but on a smaller scale with more lights. This outfit was perfect for all the walking that we had to do that day.
