I love ice cream. I don’t remember a time when that statement was not true! I know, I know – do we really need a post about ice cream? Yes, beloved, we do need one. This post (sponsorship free) is my declaration of love for one of my favorite artisanal gelato makers: Amorino. If you don’t know Amorino, allow me to introduce you to the creative geniuses that make the flower shaped gelato.
Amorino is probably one of the few parlors that allows you to add as many ice cream flavors as you can to your cone (or cup)! Ok – for the ice cream lovers out there if that hasn’t got you googling ‘Amorino’ to see if it’s not in your neighborhood then maybe this will: over 20 flavors to choose from! Only thing I love more than a bargain are options! Knowing that I can get coconut and mango and pistachio … ok maybe not pistachio – maybe not in this combo – but that’s not the point! The point is if your heart desired it, you could get it! And I know there are those out there who do not enjoy gelato (or sorbets) – Amorino has hot drinks as well as dolci! Dolci people! If you can’t tell, I have a crazy sweet tooth and all these options are right up my alley.
So when we went to Barcelona and saw an Amorino parlor, y’all know I HAD to get some! This was my fifth Amorino location to visit and it was well worth the visit (other locations visited: Chicago, Boston, Cambridge and Paris) .
