One of the best things that has come as a result of this period of social distancing has been the fact that I’ve been able to think outside my fashion boundaries like with this bohemian corporate chic look!
I consider my style more on the structure, flirty, more feminine side, which is why I gravitated towards this bohemian inspired look. It checked off the same boxes that I usually look for – with a twist! I was so excited with how this turned out that I had to share how you too can create your own bohemian corporate chic look!
- The fit. This is the key to any bohemian look. The flowy/ loose fitting top is a must have in creating any bohemian look. This top is the perfect example of how curvier bodies can wear a loose fitting top without being engulfed in it! We can do this ladies!
- Ruffles! Are the anchor to nailing the feminine, flirty part of the bohemian corporate chic look. The ruffles on this top are perfectly placed on the sleeves and along the neckline, which are just enough ruffle on one top!
- Structured trousers/culottes. I had to stay true to myself and my go to with any corporate look is a pair of well-fitting trousers. I picked this pair as it hit above the ankles and when paired with heels, gives the illusion that my legs are longer than they are!
- Tone/ color. To round off a bohemian chic look, go with monochrome. I’m obsessed with styling monochrome looks here, here, here & here. And today’s look is no different. Tonal looks like this one when done right make woman look more expensive, timeless and overall elegant.
