How to add a pop of color to a neutral look

What would you say if I told you that this entire outfit except the accessories and shoes are from Primark? Y’all stay sleeping on em – fast fashion – I know I know – but what you can pull together in terms of looks from Primark is kind of hard to beat!

So when I was putting together this neutral spring/summer look, I figured that I needed to stay true to my fashion aesthetic and add a pop of color.

I am slowly learning the art of dressing in a monochrome color and adding a pop, which adds a little pizzaz to a look!

So … Binja, how do we add color to a neutral look? It’s all in the shoes and the accessories. Take this look for instance, I added a pop of color using variations of the color pink. I wore blush tassel earrings (similar here) with gold detailing. These earrings are some of my faves as they are both on trend and super feminine.

I also added this blush clutch with multicolored studs. It was a steal from Amazon!

Lastly, I wore my favorite Zara slingback heels (similar here). These babies are work ready and brunch ready – get you a pair that can do both y’all!

I hope that the tips provided help you slay! Tag me in your looks on Instagram @Africancocktail where I can see how you styled your neutrals.
