Cocktail Party

The ambiance, the dressing up and the connections made are all reasons why I love cocktail parties! What does a good cocktail party look consists of? In my opinion, a statement piece – in this case this green pleated skirt – as well as comfortable shoes – those with a chunky heel, are essentials to a great cocktail party look. I love a chunky heel when attending cocktail parties as there isn’t always a guarantee of seating options at the venue. 

I also believe that cocktail parties are places where at breaking the ice is sometimes a bit challenging so it always helps when you can use an article of clothing or jewelry as a conversation starter.
