My name is Binja and I’m a snacker. One of my Achilles heels in my health journey are snacks. Y’all know what I’m talking about – chips, chocolate, candy, and my good friend ice cream (see post here)- urgh gimme gimme gimme! If I’m being completely transparent, finding delicious, healthy snacks in the ‘healthy food aisle’ is thee actual struggle bus! Additionally, I constantly forget to eat – especially when I’m working so finding a healthy snack – as crazy as it sounds – became a priority for me this year.
Personally, 2020 is all about consistency. Part of consistency requires preparation. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail, and with those words in my mind, I was on the hunt for healthy snacks. And I found them so that you wouldn’t have to run around as much as I did! So, cocktails, welcome to my 2020 snack pile: a list of my favorite healthy snacks.
I was a woman on a mission when I discovered on Stoneridge Orchards dried fruit at my local grocery store.
Stoneridge Orchards have no preservatives, are gluten free, non-GMO, and are kosher! Yes people I have found my favorite snacks … you’re welcome people!
I have tried their products and my favorites are the sliced peach and berry mix dried fruit packs. I pack these as part of my meal prep snacks on a weekly basis … I also consider these movie theatre snacks!
Y’all … don’t judge me. I know some people consider fruit pouches snacks for kids but ummm – I’m all over these snacks! My favorites being the Buddy Fruit pouches. I have at least one or two a day! They are a quick source of vitamins and honestly, on the days when I forget to eat, these hold me over between meals.
