I’m one of those people who loves getting ‘dressed up’ for the beach. What do I mean? Well, while others throw on a bathing suit and run into the ocean, I wear jewelry, throw on a fabulous street-worthy cover up and rock the fanciest sunglasses. Is this extra? Yes. Am I doing the most? Yes. But why be boring when you can be extra?
My favorite swimsuit is the one piece. From how it hugs my body to the variations in color, the cut and available prints … I always resort to the one piece as my go-to swimwear. So when I knew that we were heading to Hawaii, I went out and picked out some really cute pieces that I knew would be fashionable, easy to accessorize and comfortable – maybe I should change the order here … but we all know that I’m in a cute swimsuit before thinking about how comfortable I will be in it … just me? Oh ok … cool. Truth time? Usually, I think about the visuals before the comfort. To me the comfort is secondary if it’s a cute swimsuit. I’m here for the images and then the function. It does work out though that the swimsuits I wear are also comfortable … and I am in the water (hair and all) a good percentage of the time when at the beach!
Lastly, I go for affordability. I don’t believe in breaking the bank for swimsuits. All the swimsuits I’m sharing are under $30! Yes people, between my Amazon purchases and Forever 21, there were some cute and affordable finds that I totally rocked during my vacation. Did you catch these on my Instagram?
