Springtime is finally here in Boston! I can officially say goodbye to my winter coats and snow boots. This African is ready for more sunshine and springtime fashions. One of my frequently asked questions on social media is on how to style pastels for work. So I put together a guide on how to do so:
- A white blazer – a blazer is a key piece in any work wardrobe. Every girl needs a fitting blazer and a white one is perfect as we transition from winter to spring.
- A body suit – this is the latest add to my wardrobe. Bodysuits are such a gem as you no longer have to think about tucking and untucking. They provide a clean look, which makes you look put together at all times.
- Pastel colored trousers – I love these powder blue pants! These pants are a perfect fit and aren’t too ‘loud’ at the office. I love these pants especially as an alternative to the grey male – inspired pants that many women wear in corporate America.
- Accessorize – Pastels provide the best backdrop for signature pieces like these earrings from shop BMBL, which elevate any look!
