How are we coming to the end of the summer already? We are less than a month away from the beginning of fall and I’m not ready! I have just started enjoying the fact that Boston is north of 80 degrees and now we are slowly slipping back to that crisp fall air … sigh!
To cheer myself up (and honestly push the summer back) I picked out some of my favorite transition jumpsuits that I will be wearing for both work and play.
Work
As we head into this in-between period where the days are warm and the nights are cool, I have found that a well structured jumpsuit should be part of every bossy woman’s closet. A jumpsuit is perfect as you can throw on a blazer to give it a more formal feel or wear it as I did in this look – without. I found this jumpsuit particularly fun as well as work appropriate – polka dots anything are a must have!
PLAY
Who doesn’t love a red outfit? I love the vibrancy of this jumpsuit, as well as the linen fabric, which makes it the perfect choice when heading out to a boat party or just spending the day with girlfriends.
Which is your favorite look? A good jumpsuit has never failed me … and neither has the good tailoring of Ann Taylor!
I’m Binja, an African based healthcare IT consultant by day and an #Africancocktail at all times! Who is an #Africancocktail? Allow me to explain: I’m half Congolese (DRC) and half Kenyan (hella African) – that along with the fact that I’ve grown up in five countries on three continents has contributed to my being an amalgamation of cultures (or in my case a cocktail). Yes, I’m one of those ‘third culture kids’ who sounds British but speaks Swahili and French with an American accent. So yes folks – I’m an #Africancocktail!
