Pinky // Zara

This is probably my favorite spring dress! Zara came all the way through with this mini: ‘praise hands emoji’. I wore the black and white checked version (here) and I think once I got over the length I was able to fully enjoy this look.

Pink was my favorite color in high school and at one point I did go by the nickname ‘Pinky’ … but as I began fine tuning my fashion sense, it became apparent that I needed to incorporate this color in a more thoughtful way. So I decided to style it with the monochromatic trend and as you can see – it works beautifully. I know there are people who think that trends ‘box you in’ but when done right as with this look, trends can result in very successful looks! In addition to the monochrome trend, the dress also has bell sleeves that have been all the rage and are sure to make a comeback in the spring albeit with a bohemian twist.

Springtime has really brought out all my favorite dresses as seen here and here. And being able to play with various dress lengths this spring is proving to be right in line with my love for feminine and flirty fashion.

Finally, can we talk about these heels? Zara definitely has come through in the shoe department. I love these color blocked heels and they are the perfect match for this outfit!
