One Skirt: Two Ways

If you haven’t noticed, I’m a huge fan of skirts. I love how feminine I feel in them. I love them short, long, ruffled, printed … you get the picture. I love skirts! So today I decided to share how I styled one of my favorite skirts from Chicwish. If you haven’t heard of Chicwish before … pull a seat and come closer. They are an indie online retail company that sells unique feminine pieces. Some of my favorite dresses and skirts were purchased here!

Look I: Color Contrast

Ok – I have a confession. This top – really isn’t a top. It’s actually a dress that I got from Loft! I literally wore the skirt over the dress and it created the perfect contrasting look! I love the rich purple color of the dress and when paired with this white skirt, it created an instantly feminine fall look. I love using the pieces that I already have in my closet. Many times we may feel that we need to continually shop but many times if we build our wardrobes with classic pieces, we can re-invent looks as I did with this skirt-dress combo!

Look II: Fall ready

My second pairing was with this blush sweater that I purchased from Primark. I used the same printed head wrap as before and my favorite Zara slingback heels. Y’all, how cute is this look? It’s the perfect fall combo and I was so warm! It’s the perfect work outfit especially if you are looking to make a statement. The pops of color make this look even more feminine and easy to style as a transition outfit.
