Comfort, versatility, luxury, history – these are the words that come to mind when describing one of my favorite brands: Gant. This brand has been creating luxury goods since 1949 and I was so excited when I got to try on their slim fitted shirts. Listen – if I have learnt anything from the legendary designer Carolina Herrera, it’s the value of a great structured shirt. She frequently pairs structured shirts with skirts, which inspired my look!
I love this stretch cotton oxford shirt so much. The fabric is soft to the touch and the addition of darts on the chest and back flatter my physique so well! This is a shirt that us curvy girls as well as not so curvy girls can both wear effortlessly. A shirt that flatters all body types all the while maintaining form and flair checks all my fashion boxes!
I’m a through and through New Englander and gingham makes us New Englanders happy – this shirt has gingham details on the collar and cuffs! I think it’s safe to say that this shirt was made for this African woman!
