My favorite workout accessories

Today’s post is gonna be a quick one but one that highlights my fave workout accessories. I’ve found that working out with complementary accessories gets me motivated. These accessories create a whole workout vibe that sets the tone for all my workouts: go time!

  1. Jump rope – One of my favorite exercises is jumping rope. My favorite accessory for this cardio exercise is the Everlasat jump rope. I’m telling y’all I feel like a beast when jumping rope and Everlast makes the best jump ropes! For an added challenge you can use these weighted jump ropes here.
  2. Water bottles – sure, you can get a simple water bottle but why be basic when you can get a fancy water bottle? I love these Nathan water bottles y’all! You can check out their website and fall in love with the variety.Hydration never looked so good! 
  3. Activity trackers – I am in love with my Fitbit Versa. Yes, I’m an Apple girl but unless the Apple watch can increase their battery life from 24 hours to more than 48 hours, I’m going to happily stick to Fitbit. This baby is on me when I sleep, run, meditate, swim, walk and even just take a stroll down a clothing isle. It tracks everything! I highly recommend pairing it with the Aria. You can weigh yourself on the Aria and it syncs with your fitness dashboard and you can track weight gain and loss through the app.
  4. Workout shoes – ah my favorite accessory is a good pair of shoes. A good pair can save your from injuries like sprains, falls and sprains. My fave brands have great tread, which helps with high intensity training. I love brands like Nike, Puma, Adidas and Reebok (although I prefer their activewear)!
