This time next week we will be in full fall mode so I have put together a list of my end of summer to do list. These are activities that I will be doing to get me in fall mode.
Book my trip home – I’m planning on going home this December and I cannot wait to bring you guys along to my crazy 14 person family!
Book my Airbnb to Nantucket – I have always wanted to visit this New England island and this is the year I do it! I was in Portland and Kennebunkport Maine (see post here) in April and last year I was on Marthas Vineyard (see post here). This year it’s Nantucket and I cannot wait!
Find a workout activity that I can do before and/or after work – consistently. I completely fell off the workout wagon this summer and I cannot continue this way! I’m getting myself together y’all!
Cook at least one recipe from Magnolia Table by Joanna Gaines
Bake at least two recipes from Empowered Sugar: A Collection of Sweets, Treats, and Female Feats by Karen and Grace Cuneo. I have anticipated the release of this cookbook for months and it’s finally here! Grab your copy here and follow on their Instagram @BakingWithTheGoodHair (brace yourself for puns and mouthwatering visuals).
Get back to daily mediations on Calm – I accidentally purchased the year long subscription and I love it! I just have to get back to routinely meditating.
Rotate my wardrobe – bye bye summer heels … hello fall booties.

I’m Binja, an African based healthcare IT consultant by day and an #Africancocktail at all times! Who is an #Africancocktail? Allow me to explain: I’m half Congolese (DRC) and half Kenyan (hella African) – that along with the fact that I’ve grown up in five countries on three continents has contributed to my being an amalgamation of cultures (or in my case a cocktail). Yes, I’m one of those ‘third culture kids’ who sounds British but speaks Swahili and French with an American accent. So yes folks – I’m an #Africancocktail!
