Nando’s is one of my favorite chain restaurants. Originating from South Africa, this chain has grown since its inception in 1987. I’ve had Nando’s across restaurants on three continents and have been a forever fan of their Portuguese style per-peri chicken. They make hands down the best grilled chicken outside my mother’s kitchen!
In the states, I have enjoyed Nando’s in Chicago (here), D.C. and Maryland. In Canada, I’ve enjoyed Nando’s in Ottawa. When back home on the continent, I’ve enjoyed their meals in Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa … I may be missing countries but you get the picture, I love their food! This restaurant is always a must visit spot for me when I find myself in these countries! Unfortunately, Boston doesn’t have any Nando’s restaurants so I miss the food and especially the sauces when I’m home.
I was recently watching a YouTube video where the channel host was talking about how they enjoyed Nando’s sauces and I was like wait … how? Is there Nando’s in Cali? Then she said – Amazon!
Wait – what? this entire time Amazon has carried the best hot sauce and I didn’t know? Y’all better believe that I was all over it! I went on Amazon and wouldn’t you believe it, the sauces are all there! So, like any sensible fan, I bought a ton of it! And I’m sharing my loot with y’all today!
These sauces are all Gluten free, Non- GMO and Kosher! My favorite sauces are the hot and medium ones. Now, just to be clear – these sauces are actually spicy. Not American spicy like sriracha, no – these are the kind of spicy that makes you reach for water or a glass of milk – hot. I am yet to try the lemon & herb and the the garlic sauces so getting the 4 pack was such a great decision! I’m glad that I bought these as I now get to enjoy these restaurant flavors in my home!
I’m so excited about this purchase! When rona lets out, I’m going to be carrying a bottle of this sauce in my bag à la Beyoncé!
