Alexa, play Feeling Myself by Beyoncé! Y’all, I love all the looks that I am styling for you this year but there is something so amazing about animal print. There is a boldness attached to wearing animal print that I embrace be it in a work outfit (here) or in a concert look as in this post. Animal prints are my go-to when I need to be audacious and a little bit of a risk taker, so when going out to a concert – where I cut loose, animal print is an obvious choice.
I’m not a huge concert goer but I definitely wear looks like this skirt (here) where I go for both function (ability to dance all night) as well as style (high low) style. As Beyoncé said – I came to slay – and when I go to concerts, I do slay (insert hair flip emoji lol).
I’m Binja, an African based healthcare IT consultant by day and an #Africancocktail at all times! Who is an #Africancocktail? Allow me to explain: I’m half Congolese (DRC) and half Kenyan (hella African) – that along with the fact that I’ve grown up in five countries on three continents has contributed to my being an amalgamation of cultures (or in my case a cocktail). Yes, I’m one of those ‘third culture kids’ who sounds British but speaks Swahili and French with an American accent. So yes folks – I’m an #Africancocktail!
