I’m a girly girl … lover of all things fashion and jewelry is my favorite! So when it comes to storing the jewelry that I have either purchased or been gifted, it’s important that I store it in the most practical but also beautiful displays. Today I’m sharing how I store my jewelry so that you can draw some inspo and in turn spice up your displays!
I use a mix of jewelry stands, trays and boxes to store all my pieces. The two principles that I abide by are practicality – can I get to what I need, and visual appeal.
One of my fave ways to display my jewelry is on a bust. This bust is perfect as it can hold loads of necklaces of varied weights, Its beautiful to look at and the necklaces are easily accessible.
Y’all we can never go wrong with a gorgeous tray filled with studded earrings. Any earrings that I cannot hook I lay flat on this marble and gold tray. Its perfect as a display and I always know which pieces I have at my disposal.
So this is how I do it folks! How about you? Tag me over on Instagram @Africancocktail or comment below.
I’m Binja, an African based healthcare IT consultant by day and an #Africancocktail at all times! Who is an #Africancocktail? Allow me to explain: I’m half Congolese (DRC) and half Kenyan (hella African) – that along with the fact that I’ve grown up in five countries on three continents has contributed to my being an amalgamation of cultures (or in my case a cocktail). Yes, I’m one of those ‘third culture kids’ who sounds British but speaks Swahili and French with an American accent. So yes folks – I’m an #Africancocktail!
