Growing up Christmas day brought with it new clothes and shoes. Am I the only one who wore got new clothes for Christmas? I love this holiday sooo much!
The air just feels lighter, the people merrier and the food tastier. So all that’s left is to get dressed up and show out! As I got older and my parents got less involved in what I wore, I looked forward to styling outfits for the big day. Today’s outfit is one that I would style for Christmas this year!
The reds and burgundy in this look are everything my Christmas dreams are made of! The shimmery color in this skirt as well as the pleats make this look on trend and perfect for the holiday! I paired it with this faux fur scarf and voilà! Im ready to celebrate Christmas with the family.
We have two days left in the 30 skirts in 30 days series and I cannot believe it! Are you following the blog and over on Instagram @Africancocktail? Let me know your thoughts!
I’m Binja, an African based healthcare IT consultant by day and an #Africancocktail at all times! Who is an #Africancocktail? Allow me to explain: I’m half Congolese (DRC) and half Kenyan (hella African) – that along with the fact that I’ve grown up in five countries on three continents has contributed to my being an amalgamation of cultures (or in my case a cocktail). Yes, I’m one of those ‘third culture kids’ who sounds British but speaks Swahili and French with an American accent. So yes folks – I’m an #Africancocktail!
