Valentine’s day is my fave. I mean who doesn’t love love? Yes, I’m a little bit in the clouds after watching The Holiday for the 1000th time but I just love love. And what better day encapsulates all the mushiness and corniness around love than Valentine’s Day?! I know if you’re single, Valentine’s Day is the worst. The absolute worst; however, I want you to look at it as a #fashoppotunity – a fashion opportunity. It’s another day when you get to dress up and feel über feminine. So how do I put together a Valentine’s Day look?

By now y’all already know that I’m all about that base à la Meghan Trainor! This look’s base is the skirt. In this case I went with a skirt that combined so many feminine traits: blush, pink floral detail, midi length, A line shape … all the ingredients to a gorgeous look! This Chicwish skirt fits the bill (similar) and was paired with a blush long sleeved top. I’m a fan of no fuss outfits and I’m of the ‘less is more’ school of thought in this instance. To that end I paired the look with some blush heels (similar) and studded purse. As I always do, I threw on my sunnies and burgundy lip. I threw in a pop of the color green to break up the blush pink in the earrings.
