Holiday Shopping

October is winding down and today Netflix dropped a clip of their holiday line up (see here)! You know what that means … holiday shopping time!

I know, I know, it’s too soon to talk about the holidays … but is it though? My local Homegoods has a holiday section garlands and all!

So I figured … not too soon to share a super festive holiday shopping look! I was out and about in Boston today and this vintage pleated skirt got sooo many positive comments! The A line cut is so feminine and the pockets?! What? Who doesn’t love a good pocket! Picking this skirt for some holiday shopping was a no brainer! It was a mix of comfort and style: the golden fashion ration!

I’m having so much fun styling plaid this year! I styled up the plaid skirt in this way, which  makes this look waaayyy more approachable. I know some folks want nothing to do with a plaid skirt but it’s fall in New England … plaid is kind of a uniform this time of year. I have styled it for work here as well as for going out here and today I’m styling it up for shopping. 

I started my holiday shopping around the Fenway area in Boston. For the non baseball fans, Fenway Park is the most historic baseball park in America – and is home of the Boston Red Sox. 

I’m a proud Bostonian and this is one of my favorite areas to shop … and the bonus is that there are plenty of restaurants in the area in case you need to take a break ( and in my case … change my shoes!).
