Today’s look was inspired by watching Madea’s Family reunion … yes I watched it for the 100th time – what can I say? Madea cracks me up! Watching it got me thinking about what skirts one could wear for a fall family reunion.

I stuck to velvet. I love velvet especially for the fall/winter seasons. Velvet offers both style and warmth – a fashionable yet sensible choice. This velvet skirt is knee length – y’all know you don’t need to be doing the most when older uncles and aunties are around! I paired the skirt with this cute printed crew neck sweatshirt and sneakers. I added sneakers as comfort is always king! I couldnt imagine spending hours catching up with family members, running after nephews and nieces and dancing for hours in heels. Absolutely not! I cannot imagine it!  

This entire look is from Primark and probably cost under $80 total! Don’t be sleeping on Primark y’all … I couldn’t find these exact pieces but I have linked similar looks.
