I’m back from New Orleans and I figured that it’s the perfect time to style a boss look as some people are getting back to work.
I know conferences and larger business related gatherings are not events that we will soon attend in person but I wanted to make sure that when outside fully opened up, we were ready.
I paired this pencil skirt, which I think we can all agree, hugs curves phenomenally! I paired it with a white bodysuit – a piece that has become a staple and must have in my closet. Many times when I. attend conferences, I only find a sea of bland black, white and grey suits. This look presents an alternative to how you can still look presentable but very fashionable at the same time.
I’m Binja, an African based healthcare IT consultant by day and an #Africancocktail at all times! Who is an #Africancocktail? Allow me to explain: I’m half Congolese (DRC) and half Kenyan (hella African) – that along with the fact that I’ve grown up in five countries on three continents has contributed to my being an amalgamation of cultures (or in my case a cocktail). Yes, I’m one of those ‘third culture kids’ who sounds British but speaks Swahili and French with an American accent. So yes folks – I’m an #Africancocktail!
